ANNAPOLIS, Md., March 26, 2010 - Trawler Fest, the cruising-under-power lifestyle celebration produced by PassageMaker Magazine, will take place May 20-22 at the Cap Sante Boat Haven in Anacortes, WA. Boat show hours are Thursday through Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Boat Show: The premier niche cruising event will feature over 70 exhibitors showcasing a variety of essential boating products and services. Over 60 boats will be on display, allowing for attendees to board the vessels.

Educational Experience: For attendees interested in furthering their knowledge, a first class line-up of seminars will be available at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. daily. Seminar topics include: All About Anchoring, Latest in Navigation and Exploring Queen Charlotte Islands. Additionally, valuable hands-on activities will take place each afternoon and are included with the $15 general admission.

Rendezvous: Thursday and Friday evenings will include a cocktail reception and dinner.  There will be fun and exciting programs like Trivia Night and a Mardi Gras party. On Saturday evening, participants will enjoy a cocktail reception at Cap Sante Boat Haven followed by a presentation of the People’s Choice Award – a key component to making Trawler Fest a unique event in the marine community.

Location: Anacortes, the gateway to the beautiful San Juan Islands, has been a cruiser’s paradise for years. Located on Fidalgo Island, it is conveniently situated halfway between Seattle and Vancouver BC and is the destination point for the San Juans and International ferry runs for Washington State.
