NORFOLK, Va., July 21, 2008–Commercial Truck Trader, the leading online marketplace for buying and selling commercial trucks and trailers and a division of Dominion Enterprises, will sponsor the Used Truck Association’s inaugural East Coast Golf Tournament on September 24 and 25. The event will be held at the Bay Creek Resort and Club in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The official tee-off time on the Arnold Palmer-designed Signature course is 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25.

Proceeds from this four-person, scramble-style tournament will benefit the UTA-Jerome Nerman Educational Fund. This fund awards scholarships to assist students in furthering their education at an accredited, degree-granting institution. Applicants are evaluated based on their participation in community and school activities, work accomplishments, and academic success. Since its inception the fund has awarded $24,000 in scholarships to six students. This year, five deserving students each will be awarded a $5,000 scholarship.

UTA has made arrangements for hotel rooms at Norfolk Marriott Waterside in downtown Norfolk. Special rates are available for guests by mentioning Commercial Truck Trader/Dominion Enterprises when making reservations. Transportation will be provided for guests to and from the golf course.
