Dominion Marine Media and Marine Retailers Association of America Announce Marine Retail University

Norfolk, VA – (April 18, 2012) –Dominion Marine Media, the division of Dominion Enterprises that operates YachtWorld.com, BoatTrader.com and Boats.com, announced today the date of its first Marine Retail University.

Produced by The Marine Retailers Association of the Americas and Dominion Marine Media, and sponsored by Norman-Spencer Marine Insurance Services, the event will be held on October 21-22, 2012 at the Omni La Mansion Del Rio in San Antonio. Dominion Marine Media will be presenting best practices for dealers, focusing on marketing and social media.

The Norman-Spencer Marine Retail University event will feature four targeted educational sessions, an expo hall, and a series of networking sessions, including a riverboat cruise on October 21.  The educational sessions will feature market-specific sales and dealer-performance data with market insights that can help attendees make better business decisions.  GE Commercial Distribution Finance will be a session on economic trends and dealer performance; Statistical Surveys will provide detailed insights into sales trends and market performance; and Dominion Marine Media will present best practices and expert advice on how to develop your marketing plan in today’s economy.  Another educational session will be added soon.
